2. Account Registration & Login
Before using EXMO, you need to create an account and sign in. This chapter explains registration methods, login options, and account management notes.
2.1 Account Registration
You can register an EXMO account through the following steps:
- Step 1: Open the registration page by tapping Register Now when you first launch the EXMO app.
- Step 2: Read and agree to the EXMO User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Third-Party Account Authorization Agreement before continuing. Users under 14 should register and use the service under guardian guidance and review the Notice to Minors carefully.
- Step 3: Complete your registration details, including a username, a valid mobile number or email address, verification code confirmation, and a password that is 8-32 characters long and contains at least two character types among letters, numbers, or symbols.
2.2 Account Login
After registration, you can log in with a mobile number or email address and password, or by using supported third-party sign-in methods.
- Mobile Number / Email Login: enter the mobile number or email used during registration and your password. If you forget your password, use Forgot Password to verify by code and reset it.
- Third-Party Login: EXMO currently supports WeChat, Apple ID, and Google sign-in. On first-time third-party registration, you may need to bind a mobile number or email for account management.
2.3 Account Management & Security
- Keep your account and password secure and never share them with others.
- If you detect abnormal activity, forget your password, or believe your account was compromised, reset your password immediately or contact exmo@contact.ai.
- Each account should be linked with at least one valid mobile number or email address so EXMO can deliver security alerts and important notices.
- If you need to change linked mobile, email, or third-party account information, complete the verification process in the Account page of User Center.
Quick Login FAQ: if you do not receive a verification code, check your network and spam folder, then try again later. If third-party login fails, make sure the linked account is valid and available. If registration reports an invalid mobile number or email format, check for spelling errors or use password reset if the account already exists.
After completing registration and login, we recommend moving on to Dissemination Preference Settings to receive more accurate personalized recommendations.

- Open one platform trend panel daily to identify fresh entry points.
- Customize platform display order and quantity, and use Ask Me Anything as your direct creation entry if you generate content with EXMO frequently.
4. Configuring Dissemination Preferences
Dissemination preferences are the basis for personalized EXMO recommendations. Completing them carefully helps the platform deliver better strategies and content suggestions.
4.1 Preference Overview
- Dissemination role, such as brand communicator or creator.
- Domain or field, such as technology, culture, or consumer goods.
- Communication goals, such as exposure, conversion, or public opinion guidance.
- Tone and communication style, such as formal, warm, humorous, or motivating.
- Emotional tendency, such as positive, rational, or neutral.
- Preferred platforms, such as Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Weibo, WeChat Channels, or Bilibili.
The more accurate these settings are, the better EXMO can understand your dissemination needs and deliver targeted recommendations.
4.2 How to Set Preferences
- Step 1: open the preference settings page from the homepage or User Center.
- Step 2: select your dissemination role.
- Step 3: define up to 5 relevant dissemination fields.
- Step 4: set your communication goals, such as brand exposure or conversion.
- Step 5: choose up to 3 style preferences and up to 2 emotional tendencies.
- Step 6: select your preferred platforms.
- Step 7: tap Save Preferences to store your settings.
4.3 Dissemination Genes and Preference Optimization
Communication genes are EXMO's dynamic personalization framework. The platform updates them automatically based on your dissemination activities and feedback performance, then uses them to optimize future recommendations.
- Gene Formation and Updates: after major actions such as completing tasks and receiving feedback, EXMO re-evaluates your historical performance and adjusts your communication gene profile.
- Gene–Preference Relationship: the labels selected in dissemination preferences become important inputs for downstream task, content, and analysis recommendations.
- Monthly Review Suggestion: check the preference page regularly and refine your settings based on the optimization suggestions given by the system.
Preference Tips: fill in your preferences as comprehensively as possible at the beginning, update them promptly when your needs change, and review your communication gene changes regularly to keep recommendations accurate.
5. Creating a Dissemination Task
Tasks are EXMO's core unit for planning, executing, and tracking dissemination activities. Well-structured tasks help you reach goals more efficiently and obtain precise feedback.
5.1 Task Overview
- Task name: a concise description of the topic or objective.
- Dissemination labels: specific keywords related to the communication target, such as a brand, product, or event.
- Event execution time: the date and time used for dissemination calendar reminders.
- Preference settings: task-level preference adjustments for specific scenarios.
A task itself does not impose a hard execution deadline, but assigning an event time helps EXMO remind you through the dissemination calendar.
5.2 How to Create a Task
- Step 1: open Task Center from the navigation bar and tap Create New Task.
- Step 2: enter the task name, dissemination label, and optional event execution time.
- Step 3: adjust task-specific preferences such as tone, platforms, and dissemination goals if they differ from your global preferences.
- Step 4: optionally collect feedback content through links or text input, then tap Generate Task to create the task and add it to Task Center.
5.3 Task Creation Notes
- Keep task names concise and clear for later review.
- Use precise dissemination labels to improve downstream content generation and analysis accuracy.
- Update event timing promptly when schedules change. Expired events will no longer appear on the homepage calendar.
5.4 Task History Records
- Each task automatically creates a history thread that records key actions and outcomes.
- From task details, you can jump directly into related Semantic Analysis and Content Generation histories.
- Each task corresponds to one content generation dialogue history. If you unbind the task and start a new dialogue, EXMO creates a separate history entry.
- Selecting a task in Semantic Analysis enables task analysis mode, and new uploaded feedback can be added to the task automatically.
- The task list supports keyword search, and tasks can be deleted from the top-right trash button.
Task Tips: make sure the event time matches the timeliness of the communication, update task information when details change, and use the list sorting and filtering options to organize tasks more efficiently.
6. Content Generation Module
6.1 Module Overview
The Content Generation Module is EXMO's core AI dialogue engine. It supports multi-turn natural-language interaction for dissemination copy, titles, comments, strategy suggestions, analysis support, and campaign writing. It is designed as a flexible and traceable semantic generation environment grounded in task preferences, semantic context, and communication goals.

- Attachment Support: upload documents, captured photos, or local images to give EXMO more reference material.
6.5 Record Management
- All dialogues are automatically stored by time.
- Each history entry displays a summary, date, and task-binding status.
- You can continue a dialogue, copy text, delete a record, collect it, or search histories by keyword.
6.6 Tips for Better Use
- Be specific with platform, tone, and style keywords for better outputs.
- Use task preferences to shape the generated style.
- Refine outputs iteratively over multiple turns.
- Jump into Semantic Analysis when you need more data support for generated content.
7. Semantic Analysis Module
The Semantic Analysis Module interprets emotional tendency, extracts keywords, tracks trends, and generates dissemination suggestions from collected links or text. It supports both direct analysis and task-linked analysis.
- Direct Analysis Mode: for quick analysis without linking to a task.
- Task-Linked Analysis Mode: for binding analysis to a task so the results remain traceable and can contribute to communication gene evolution.
- Entry Points: the bottom navigation analysis icon or the analysis button inside task details.
- Analysis Result Layout: emotion score, feedback volume, keyword cloud, emotional trend chart, and EXMO dissemination suggestions.
- Record Management: browse all analysis records from the analysis homepage, filter by direct or task-linked mode, search by keyword, and open any record for detail.
8. History Records & Behavior Tracking
This module lets users review finished tasks, semantic analysis records, and content generation histories, forming an evolving dissemination behavior archive that also supports communication gene modeling.
- Record Types: task records, semantic analysis records, and content generation records.
- Entry Points: Task Center, Semantic Analysis homepage, and the History button inside Content Generation.
- One Task–One Record Rule: each task corresponds to one content generation history and one semantic analysis history, ensuring consistency and traceability.
- Functional Support: search, detail viewing, editable record names or notes, and deletion with secondary confirmation.
- Merging Analysis Records: multiple analysis records can be merged by combining feedback data, but each merge can include at most one task-linked analysis record.
9. Communication Gene
The Communication Gene module summarizes a user's dissemination behavior and presents a personalized communication profile by extracting representative tags, emotional tendencies, platform preferences, and stylistic patterns from tasks, semantic analysis, and generated content.
- Access: enter from User Center or from the homepage shortcut button Your Communication Gene.
- Components: behavior summary, EXMO communication gene overview, tag interpretation, and EXMO insight suggestions.
- Tag Interpretation: each tag explains its alignment with your preference settings, the system evidence behind it, and the semantic interpretation.
- Best Practices: review the module regularly, adjust dissemination preferences when needed, and use EXMO suggestions as an important reference for task and content strategy.
